IconTalk is a new, non-verbal, concept communication tool by Eclectic Randomness. Designed as an expansion on the communications implant concept, IconTalk expands the wearer's vocabulary from a simple "yes/no/silence" option, to a more evocative series of conceptual icons, like a crude form of impromptu sign-language. While it was designed with bondage and RLV play in mind, IconTalk could easily be used with animal avatars to communicate emotional responses, without breaking RP.
The IconTalk HUD features 26 concept icons with images such as 'heart', 'home', 'night', 'wait', 'key', etc. But the really interesting part is when you start stringing icons together to form sentences. "wait"-"home"-"no"-"heart"-"smile" might be the wearer's attempt to say "no, I don't want to go home, I love it here". Communication still remains rudimentary and challenging, but the breadth of possible ways to use IconTalk is really exciting.
